Bringing In The New Year and Good Vibes
Everyone gets gloomy this time of year with or without depression. There are some simple ways to combat these feelings.  Make your space light and bright. Warmth and brightness can really help your mood. They actually sell natural light light bulbs that can really brighten up a room and your spirits. Candles that are made out of natural materials can really help. Burning a beeswax candle can have...

New stuff!
I have a new light box and lens for my camera coming today or tomorrow. I am SO excited. My lens I currently have is in pretty bad shape. I take it everywhere and get awesome shots but I am not the most graceful person.

New Year Resolution
I was thinking to myself about illusions last night. I am one of those people who lives inside their brain. I am constantly in contradiction with myself because I have a extroverted personality.  Most of my social interactions that go awry happen because I am so in my brain I forget not to make assumptions about others. I am constantly reminding myself we come from a very diverse country and a...

What to hike?
We are debating what to hike Christmas Eve. What better thing to do then go for a crisp morning hike! Any suggestions? I will post delicious photos of where ever we go.

Just a thought...
Sometimes I think people feel they are good because  they agree with the ethics taught by their religion but then forget to practice the values their religion teaches with mundane daily interactions. This is a time of the year when compassion cheer and good nature are expected but sometimes is neglected. If the activities of the season are making you upset or miserable take a step back and...

Its that time of year
I know for a lot of people this is a really hard time of the year. One the sun is not out as often but two it is a season that revolves around family. Family is not always a Disney depiction of what it is supposed to be. It can be a very lonely time.  I just want you who is reading this and feeling these things to know it will get better. You are not alone. You are in a world with a billions of...

From a company you "know and trust"
People should be getting really pissed about the fact they have been buying products commercials have been telling them for generations they “know and can trust” when these products have chemicals in them they don’t know and shouldn’t trust.

My Hopes And Dreams For This Country
It would be fantastic if somehow with all of this political upheaval we not only achieved political change but also a cultural change. It would be nice if we stopped arrogantly thinking our way is the only way. If we stop making assumptions the other side is stupid and if we just keep “informing them” they will start thinking correctly.  The only truth is that no one person can know...

Makeover
I bought a new banner for my little shop A Wandering Soul yesterday. The name of the graphic designers is Grumpy Sheep. They are based out of Stockholm, Sweden.  I love this shop one because they have a style of art I am totally in love with and two her bio says she met the man of her dreams in World of Warcraft. I love artistic lvl 85 paladins! I am going to be giving my shop a makeover after...

Bring It!
I just wanted to share with you all a program I really love. P90X is the most amazing workout. My husband and I both do it. It really helps with our hikes, it helps eliminate my depression and it gives me a body I feel great about.  This new year if you make it your resolution to get fit this is the way to go. It is easy to stick with. Bring it!

Paper Cutting
I am interested in what papers people use for their paper cut out work. I use silhouette paper, rice paper, recycled card stock and vellum. I haven’t found a paper I am totally in love with yet though. I have a vision of a dark grey paper image. It would be neat if I could find something pleasant to cut in that color.  It would be neat to hear what tools you like using best as well.
