Hike Today
Today we are heading out to Punchbowl Waterfall in the Columbia Gorge. Yesterday I crushed a bunch of push ups and pull ups so I am a lol sore. It is going to be a great time.

What hiking means to me.
So today I went in to exchange my new boots. The boots I had were hurting my feet a lil bit. I ended getting a step up and the lady showed me a special way to lace them that makes me look like a friggen pro.

Give Back
When I hike I carry a small pouch with me. In this pouch is raw tobacco. I was taught by a really important person to thank the creator for any gifts you receive. Being able to hike a stunning trail is such a gift.

The Hike Yesterday
Yesterday was only a 6 mile hike but it was up and down the cliffs of the coast. My husband and I always marvel at how no tow hikes are the same even if you are hiking the same trail. I have never seen the arch in the rock that I did for a paper cut out for a friend. Yesterday in the bright sunshine there it was! The grass was low and the sky was bright blue.
