I am an extrovert. It has been my strength and weakness through out my life. I embrace this woman’s ideas.

just-my-darker-side asked: I just wanted to say I LOVE this blog! I am a native Oregonian, but I don't get out of Portland much anymore- this reminds me so much why I LOVE this place. Your photography is absolutely beautiful!
rickscheibner replied to your photo: Roots in Black and White
Did you convert to monochrome in post, or use that feature in-camera?
I did it in Aperture. I still need to learn how to do it in the camera. The sky is a bit grainy and I need to work on that.

Can I?
When someone says “I could never do that.” They are limiting themselves. You never know what you are capable of till you try. People beat impossible odds every single day.

nadinelovesdinosaurs asked: For your problem with people taking your photos and putting them in other sights, you should watermark your pictures with your name/signature/job name. People can't get rid of watermarks!

It really bums me out when...
People take my photography and remove me as a source and link another photography site to it. I work hard to get these pictures, at least let me have my name on them. Thank you! :)

Aperture
rickscheibner said: Good stuff. A sturdy tripod is just as important as everything else, IMO. Do you have Lightroom? I shoot almost exclusively RAW and use it for 99% of my editing.
I have Aperture but still need to learn it. When I finish reading my Nikon for Dummies book I will dive into the Aperture how to book. I have the RAW photos tucked away in my archive for when I actually know...
